About Us

You may find a host of different websites that offer materials to help improve reading skills. But you won’t find one like Reading Vine.

Our unique combination of features ensures we stand out from the crowd.

Free

The fact that our site is absolutely free is one differentiator. So you won’t find any monthly subscription costs, registration fees or other hidden fees that make you pay to help you students.

Personalized

The focus on personalized learning is another perk that sets us apart. You can search for passages and related questions based on a huge variety of different criteria that include but go beyond the grade level alone.

Customizable

You can further customize your lessons by creating your own reading sets that contain groups of passages you want to present together to reinforce a specific topic, concept or skill.

Fast and Easy

The ability to save, download and/or print passages and worksheets is another benefit not always found on similar sites. This makes it easy to retain, share and reproduce materials to share with your students at any time.

Promoting the Love of Reading

We mentioned we promote learning, which makes sense since we’re coming from an educator’s point of view. Our Reading Vine team includes individuals with backgrounds in education, those who have seen how easy it is for students to fall between the cracks when lessons are too easy, too tough, too boring, or otherwise not tailored to their needs.

We developed Reading Vine to not only promote the learning, but to promote the love of reading. Our reading passages are carefully selected to elicit high levels of interest for all levels, with the accompanying questions, worksheets and activities designed do to do the same. You’ve heard practice makes perfect, and students will be most inclined to practice their reading skills if they actually enjoy the process.

We hope Reading Vine is enjoyed by students as well as the teachers, tutors, parents and all others who register to give it a go. We certainly enjoyed creating it, and we would be thrilled if that enjoyment lived on.
