Eid al-Fitr Trivia Activity

Welcome to Eid al-Fitr trivia! Eid al-Fitr, pronounced “eed-uhl-fee-truh,” is a celebration that marks the end of an event called Ramadan, which is part of the Muslim faith. In this three-part activity, you’ll guide students through an informational reading, trivia quiz game, and an exit ticket where they can reflect on what they’ve learned and design their own trivia questions. Students will 1) READ the “Trivia: Eid al-Fitr” informational reading together or assign it as independent reading, 2) PLAY the “Trivia: Eid al-Fitr” Trivia Quiz Game together as a class divided into small teams, and 3) REFLECT individually with an exit ticket. Students will share how they feel, what they learned, and have an opportunity to ask or design a question. Students will build self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills. Expand the presentation below to use in class or at home, or click on the link here.
