The SEAL Strategy is a great classroom tool for teaching students about revising sentences to improve their writing skills by reducing overall sentence wordiness. The four steps of this learning strategy include: simplifying sentences, eliminating repetition, adding precise vocabulary, and leaving out “filler” words.
