Women’s History Month Trivia Activity

Welcome to Women’s History Trivia Trail! March is Women’s History Month. All around the world, people are celebrating important female leaders, innovators, and women’s efforts to achieve equality in society. This educational activity is designed to build students’ self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills as they explore the significance of Women’s History Month. Through a three-part activity, students will engage in an informational reading session, either collaboratively or independently, to learn about the historical contributions of women. Next, they will participate in a dynamic trivia quiz game, organized into small teams, to test their knowledge and understanding of the topic. Finally, students will engage in individual reflection using an exit ticket, expressing their thoughts, emotions, and newfound insights, and even creating their own trivia questions, thus promoting self-awareness and critical thinking.
