Adverb Write Your Own Sentences

Sometimes students will write informational texts and other times, they'll write creatively. In either case, using adverbs well is a great skill for them to employ and cultivate ahead of time. With this one-page downloadable worksheet on adverbs, students will spark their creativity and write sentences that contain the listed adverbs and adverbial phrase. Be sure to model for students and then have them spend time writing down their thoughts. As a whole-class activity, encourage students to share their sentences and how they've incorporated adverbs and adverbial phrases. Want more interesting worksheets to print?
