Adverbs Right or Wrong

As learners grow into their skills, it is important for them to determine the correct part of speech used in the sentences they read and write. On this single-page PDF on adverbs, students will read eight sentences. Some of the sentences use adverbs correctly, but some do not. Learners will review each of the underlined words in each sentence and determine which sentences are correct and which need revision. Students can be encouraged to write the revisions for each sentence. This is a good exercise to extend their skills. To develop these skills even further, be sure to try our other helpful adverb activities!
