Brainstorm and Find the Abstract Nouns
This multi-part handout on abstract nouns is a great way to get your students thinking and learning! First, students will brainstorm three different abstract nouns. After that, they'll find abstract nouns within sentences. Finally, they'll conclude this activity by writing sentences for each of the abstract nouns, "worry" and "concerned." Remind your students to work slowly and review their work. You can review and share as a whole class to increase engagement and accountability. Want more noun based worksheets? Check out our other
