Circle the Alliteration Poetry Activity
This multi-part worksheet on alliteration for elementary schoolers is a great tool to confirm their understanding and give them a chance to practice their skills. Students will circle the alliterative sound across five sentences and then write the letter they hear and see most. Ask students: Which letter is the noisiest in these lines? After you review as a whole class, students will have the opportunity to craft an original sentence that contains alliteration. Use this tool as your next warm-up or bell-ringer during your poetry unit.
