Complete the Metaphors Activity (1)

If you want to get your students excited about writing metaphors, this worksheet where they have to complete their own is a great place to begin. Across ten sentences, students will fill in the blanks and add words to complete each metaphor. This is a great way to infuse choice and to also inspire more creativity. Ask students to share their ideas so that everyone can understand the unique ways that metaphors can be written to add specific meaning to a sentence or work. Round out your students' learning with more of our metaphor worksheets.
