Finish the Sentence Verb Activity

Oftentimes, students struggle to begin writing. This can be a frustration point, and when they are learning about the many facets of writing and grammar, this can be a barrier. This one-page PDF has ten sentences that begin with animals. Students will complete the sentence by including a verb and sharing a thought about something that the animal is doing. To get your students excited, tell them to write sentences about something that the animal is doing around your school or learning space.
