Firefighters Main Idea Activity

There are many guest speakers and local heroes who visit schools to share important information and stories. Have your students read "Firefighters Visit" and answer the multiple choice question about the main idea of the story. After that, ask students to identify and write down two key details that support the correct main idea. This is a great story to emphasize the value of community and sharing knowledge.
