Highlight the Verbs Activity
Can your students spot the verbs or not? Students will look at twelve pictures of markers that have verbs written on them. Then, students will color in the markers that have verbs written on the side. This is a good way to get students to use they're categorization skills and practice flexibility and patience when looking at a number of options. This particular worksheet is a great way to start a lesson after students have learned about verbs. It would also be a wonderful way to conclude a classroom lesson to spot how students are understanding this part of speech as unique from others.
