Introduction to Prepositions

Teaching students about prepositions is an important part of their literacy journey. This single-page handout is a great way to introduce or review this grammar concept. At the top of the page, students will read the definitions and examples. After that, they'll use a word bank on ten sentences to practice applying what they know. Be sure to review as a whole class. This tool would also be a great way to review and reinforce this concept as a homework task or during small group work for those students who require additional support with this element of grammar. Keep this one-page PDF on prepositions in your ELA resource binder! Check out this link to find more preposition worksheets like these.
