We love a bright and exciting acrostic poem. Don't you?! Acrostic poem models are helpful in introducing students to this genre of poetry. Read this five-line poem with your students and have them complete the final question. As they write about what the author aims to share in the poem, encourage them to connect that idea to the acrostic word used to generate the poem.
