Repetition Practice Activity

If your students have spring fever, they will enjoy this poem called "Spring Sillies!" This one-page poetry worksheet is good for elementary and middle school students who are studying repetition in poetry. Ask students to read and annotate the poem first. They should note the number of repeated phrases and the effect that has on them as the reader. Finally, they'll have a chance to write their own original poetry that also includes repetition.
