What Animal Has the Best Hearing?

Did you hear that? We did, too! Did you know that barn owls and African elephants have the best hearing? When we heard that, we thought it was pretty cool. Each Fun Fact Activity Packet focusing on which animal has the best hearing contains one article, multiple choice questions and extended activities. For the earlier grade levels, there are many opportunities to get creative, like imagining all of the benefits and burdens of being able to hear so well. For the upper grade levels, there’s an opportunity to design comic characters and connect learning to the United Nations’ global Sustainable Development Goal about life on land. Finally, the upper grade level activity packet also includes a connection to digital literacy, directing learners to take on the role of both designer and educator for younger students.
